A: Yes. You can choose a different name for both the host group Auto-Registration and for the Monarch group auto-registration if you want, although you will need to modify the following settings in the config/register_agent.properties file:

default_hostgroup = "Auto-Registration"

default_monarch_group = "auto-registration"

# The default hostgroup which is passed to the hostgroups_to_assign()

# assigning to any host processed by the auto-registration code. That
